Good news for DA BUX discount card holders––as Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) shoppers will still be able to double their buying power for qualifying fruits and vegetables at participating stores through 2021! DA BUX offers 50% off locally grown produce at select supermarkets and farmer’s markets on all islands. Although the program was set to expire on December 31, 2020, existing CARES Act funding will be extended into the New Year while resources are still available. The total amount allowed per day is $20, but no longer includes discounts for local meat and eggs. For a list of participating retailers and farmer’s markets on your island, visit DA BUX website.
