Maui County’s Hawaii Emergency Laulima Partnerhip (HELP) program continues to offer financial and food assistance to families who have lost income due to coronavirus impacts. Holiday food vouchers were originally set to expire in December, but due to delay in mail deliveries, Molokai residents will have extra time to exchange their vouchers for gift certificates on Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 1-2, between 9:00 AM and Noon at the Mitchell Pau’ole Center. The HELP program is being managed through Maui Economic Opportunity (MEO) offices on Maui, Molokai and Lanai. Since the pandemic began, Maui county Mayor Michael Victorino has allocated $2 million to fund COVID relief. For more information, please visit their website.
