Catholic Charities Hawaii's "Holidays from the Heart" Campaign

While many of us may enjoy holiday shopping and the general anticipation of Christmas, let us not forget about the great number of people still struggling during this pandemic with financial difficulties, medical challenges, and other hardships. That’s why Catholic Charities Hawaii (CCH), one of the state’s largest social service agencies, is making it easy for us to share our gifts with others through their annual Holidays from the Heart campaign.

This Christmas, consider sharing your aloha with families, keiki and kupuna in need by donating gift cards to grocery or retail stores such as Foodland, Wal-Mart, Target, Long’s or Ross. These gifts make it possible for individuals and families in need to purchase everyday essentials as well as other toys and goodies to brighten their holiday season. Catholic Charities Hawaii supports thousands of people in our community throughout the year–not just during Christmas time– via various programs that address:

• Kupuna health and independence,
• Assistance to individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless,
• Family crisis intervention
• Child and Youth empowerment
• Foster family certification/support
• Immigrant advocacy and services
