Neighbor island residents ages 16 and over are now eligible to receive any of the three COVID-19 vaccines available on the market. Kauai, Maui and Hawaii island counties are currently in Phase 2 of the vaccination tier program, which offers a choice between the Johnson & Johnson, Moderna and Pfizer vaccines.
Oahu is still in the 1C phase which covers essential workers, clergy, adults age 60 years and over and persons with certain chronic medical conditions. However, the City & County of Honolulu hopes to move into Phase 2 beginning April 19. So, plan to book your appointments as soon as possible by clicking on this The Vaccine Finder link. Just enter your zip code and it will locate a vaccine site closest to you. About 100 pharmacies across the state such as Longs/CVS Pharmacies, Safeway, Walmart will be carrying ample stock supplies to get every resident who wants one, vaccinated.
