Youth in Grades 8-12 are invited to participate in the 2020-2021 Knights of Columbus Catholic Citizenship Essay Contest. 

This year’s topic is about trusting in God during a difficult time. 1 Peter 1:8 reads “Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy”.  We know God is always with us, through good and bad times. 

This contest is open to all youth in grades 8-12. Whether your parish has a Knight of Columbus council or not, all young people can enter this contest. Note that there will be ONE WINNER on the State level in each of the grade categories. The highest score for these categories will receive a scholarship of $500!!! Please encourage your young people to enter.
