Nominations are open for the new Ka Ho'oulu Awards, two awards focused on "Innovation for Mission" in our Catholic schools in Hawai'i. There are several themes that will define this program:
Program A: Hawai‘i Catholic Education Innovation Award
Cycle: Annual
Award Type: Recognition and celebration of a major innovation that has advanced Catholic education in Hawai‘i
Who is eligible: Individuals or teams; faculty and administrators/staff; currently employed at a Hawai‘i Catholic School (all grade levels K-12)
What types of project are we looking for: Projects can fall into one or more of the following categories:
What do the awards involve:
Program B: “Incubating Innovation” Grants
Cycle: One application deadline annually, up to 2 selected projects per year
Award Type: Developmental funding for mentored incubation of innovative projects (goals, action plans, measurable outcomes, impact)
Who is eligible: Individuals or teams; faculty and administrators/staff; currently employed at a Hawai‘i Catholic School (all grade levels K-12)
What types of project are we looking for: Projects can fall into one or more of the following categories:
