Mary, Star of the Sea School Student Crowned Spelling Bee Champ

Malena Medan-Pass is the Queen Bee!

Congratulations to Mary, Star of the Sea School 8th grade student Malena Medan-Pass!  She is this year's Hawaii State Spelling Bee Champion.  Of the 14 competitors, Malena came out on top at last month's competition.  She will next represent Hawaii at the National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C. which has since been postponed till further notice.
