Diocesan Board of Education Welcomes Two New Members

Welcome new DBE members Gordon Takaki and Grace Kikuchi! Both have committed to serving a minimum three year term with Takaki representing the East Hawaii Vicariate and Kikuchi a Member-at-Large.  Since 2014 Takaki has served as a host parent to several St. Joseph School Hilo's international students.  Kikuchi is the current School Board President at St. Michael School serving on their board since 2015.  Her term on the DBE is official effective July 1, 2020.  They join our board with 12 fellow members from across the state who believe and support faith-based education for our 31 schools. Mahalo for "stepping up to the plate" by serving our schools in the DBE!
