Personal Home Assistant
CSS-PSS- On-call,Oahu

The On-call, Personal Home Assistant provides services to seniors and/or individuals with disabilities that support them to maintain independent living in their home.  Majority of the duties and responsibilities are performed in the clients’ homes, in personal vehicle and at the clients’ points of destination. The services primarily involve instrumental daily living activities not limited to routine housecleaning, companionship, light meal prep, running errands, providing transportation, escort, etc. The Personal Home Assistant must demonstrate an active commitment to Catholic Charities Mission and strive to incorporate the Core Values in all aspects of daily work.

Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent plus six (6) months experience working with the elderly population and/or individuals with disabilities and/or experience in housekeeping. Volunteer work experience acceptable provided verification of extent and scope of services(s) can be provided.

Compensation: Will be discussed at time of interview. Applicable background checks:  HI State Criminal Check, TB clearance, education verification, valid driver’s license, copy of no-fault automobile insurance and access to insured vehicle are required post job offer. Clearances are needed no later than the end of the 1st month of employment.
