Religious Emblems Info Sessions and Counselor/Facilitator Training

The following Training is conducted by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles Catholic Committee on Scouting.  Training is via Zoom and the cost is $30 per person.   Contact us to register.  Be sure to note the required paperwork below.

• Will be offered in Summer 2024. More information coming soon. 

NOTE: Counselors for the Ad Altare Dei and Pope Pius XII religious emblems must have a valid training Certificate of Completion within 3 years of when you plan to teach. Volunteers who help teach must also be trained. Training is offered twice per year: in January and in July. 

Required Paperwork:

1. Completed DHCCS Counselor Facilitator Application
2. Current BSA YPT Certificate
3. Current VIRTUS Certificate
4. Current Proof of BSA Registration
5. Completed Intent to Begin form [Ad Altare Dei   Pope Pius XII]
