More Pop-Up Food Distributions Announced for Garden Isle

Families in need of food assistance during the pandemic continue to find relief through the Hawaii Food Bank. Latest schedules for drive-thru food distributions on Kauai are now open for registration. Dates and locations are slated from February through mid-April in Lihue, Hanalei, Kapa’a and Kekaha.  Each event can serve between 200-300 households. As usual, online registration is required as events fill up fast. So be sure to sign up at the Hawaii FoodBank site one week prior to the designated dates below:

All Distribution Events will begin at 10:00 am and end at 11:00 am.

February 18, 2021            LIHUE @ Vidinha Stadium, Registration opens Feb. 11th, Serving 300 households

March 4, 2021                  HANALEI @ Waipa, Registration opens Feb. 25th.  Serving 200 households.

March 18, 2021                KAPA’A @ Bryan Baptiste Park, registration opens Mar. 11th, serving 300 households.

April 1, 2021                      KEKAHA @ Kekaha Neighborhood Center, registration opens Mar. 25th, serving 300 households.

April 15, 2021                   LIHUE @ Vidinha Stadium, Registration opens April 8th, Quantity to be announced.

As announced in our e-news last week, Oahu pop-up distributions will also continue as scheduled at community parks in Kalihi, Ewa and Mililani.  Please visit the Oahu Food Bank website for more information. For those on the the Valley Isle, please see the Maui Food Bank’s February schedule for food pantries throughout all three islands of Maui County.  Also on the Big island, Hawaii Food Basket’s current Ohana Food Drop February schedule shows a list of all locations serving the entire island of Hawaii.
