To All Clergy, Parishes and Schools

Bishop Larry Silva requests that every parish publish the attached letter as an insert into its parish bulletin either this coming weekend, February 4/5, or the following weekend, February 11/12.  It is formatted in such a way that it can be printed on a single sheet of paper on both sides and folded as a booklet.  Because of its length, Bishop Silva does not recommend reading it from the pulpit, but does recommend the following announcement:

Bishop Silva has published a very important letter to all Catholic parishioners on the critical issue of physician assisted suicide, which is being considered by our State Legislature.  It is inserted in today’s bulletin, and published on the diocesan website, and we ask you to read it carefully and to take action.
